I am a Clinical Psychologist registered as an independent practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). I believe that true well-being stems from addressing the root causes of mental health challenges, therefore I am passionate about helping my clients develop coping skills, build resilience, and achieve meaningful life changes.
I have a demonstrated history of working in diverse settings within the mental healthcare industry, which has exposed me to working with people from all walks of life. I enjoy working with children (from 5 – 12 years), adolescents (13-18 years) as well as adults (19+ years) both individually and in group settings.
My Work
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, and Psychodynamic Therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe in creating a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore and understand their thoughts and emotions openly. Although this process may be challenging, it can also be incredibly rewarding and ultimately life-changing. I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.
My key areas of focus are:
- Trauma
- Bereavement
- Mood Disorders/Challenges (Depression/Anxiety)
- Attachment
- Child Development
- Childhood Difficulties
- Parental Guidance
- Interpersonal/Relationship Difficulties
- Personal Growth
