Masters in Psychology obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 2005.
I am a Counselling Psychologist registered as an independent practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
I have over a decade of experience in private practice and specialize in addressing behavioural and emotional difficulties in children and their family systems. My experience thus far has allowed me to work extensively with pre-teen children, adolescents and students facing a range of emotional challenges.
Additionally, I am well versed in providing various psychological assessments to children, adolescents and adults. Other specific areas of interest are grief counselling services for children, adults, and families, as well as career assessment and guidance for highschoolers and students.
I have been trained in the following theoretical frameworks, practical techniques, and assessments:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Gestalt Therapy
- Play Therapy
- Pre-teen and adolescent psychometric assessments.
- Career assessments.
